About the cattery
Our aim is to provide your family cats with the best individualised care possible throughout their stay. We offer a flexible, adaptable package of care to ensure that your cat settles quickly and happily into the cattery with minimal disruption to his or her daily routine.
We are focused on ‘cat-centred’ care
There is always our staff around in the cattery and each individual cat is visited regularly. Some cats, especially kittens and young cats, need extra attention to ensure they are stimulated and have toys etc to keep them amused. Older cats may not require so much stimulation but we make sure that they are comfortable and warm and have everything they need. When cats return to stay with us on a regular basis we get to know the customers and the cats as individuals and they learn to trust us and become much more relaxed in our care.
Never used a cattery before?
We have many customers who have previously never used a cattery, even some with quite elderly cats. It is so rewarding watching both customer and cat relax and become confident in us and the care we provide. Many customers tell us that it is so reassuring knowing that their cat will be safe and comfortable with us while they are away so that they can enjoy their holiday without any worries!
We hope that you will be so delighted with the care provided at our cattery that you will bring your cat back to holiday with us over and over again. We will give you absolute peace of mind that your cat is safe and happy and is being well cared for whilst you enjoy your holiday / time away from home!
Happy cats, happy owners
Cattery FAQs
My cat is an indoor cat. Is Catseye Cattery suitable for him/her?
My cat is an outdoor cat. Is Catseye Cattery suitable for him/her?
I have never used a cattery before and not sure if it will be ok for my cat/s.
Do the cat mix with other cats who are staying in the cattery?
Do I need to bring my cats food with me?
Do we need to bring our cat/s own bedding scratch post etc to the cattery?
My cat is used to a particular type of cat litter. What litter do you use?
What vaccinations does my cat need to have?
Vaccinations should have been done at least seven days before arrival at the cattery. If they are done less than a week before there is a risk that your catâs immunity levels may be low and they may not be fully protected against infection.
We regret that we will not accept any cats into the cattery if they have never been vaccinated.
Why do I need to make sure that my cat/s have had flea and worming treatments?
We request that all cats coming into the cattery are up to date with flea and worming treatment for their own protection as well as for the protection of others. We prefer to administer both flea and worming treatment if necessary on arrival if your cat is not up to date. This is not only for your catâs protection but also for the protection of the other cats in the cattery.
I have three/four cats. Can they all share a unit together?
